Physiotherapy in Bristol
Every individual begins with a detailed physiotherapy assessment designed to understand not just your symptoms, but the underlying factors contributing to your injury or pain.
This includes a combination of clinical assessment, manual therapy, movement analysis and, where appropriate, strength testing to build a clear picture of your current capacity and limitations.
Treatment focuses on reducing pain and symptoms, restoring movement, improving strength and gradually rebuilding your ability to tolerate the demands of daily life, work or sport. This may involve a combination of hands-on treatment, guided rehabilitation exercises and progressive loading strategies.
At ADAPT. PERFORM., physiotherapy is centred around long-term recovery rather than short-term symptom relief. Whether your goal is to return to pain-free daily activity or to perform at a higher level in sport, rehabilitation is structured to support sustainable progress and reduce the risk of recurring injury.
I work with runners, field sport athletes, and active individuals managing:
ACL reconstruction
Post-operative rehabilitation and pre surgery rehabilitation (prehab)
Achilles, Patellar and Hamstring tendon pain
Hamstring and calf injuries
Persistent back, hip and knee pain
Return-to-sport following injury
Every rehabilitation plan is built around progressive loading, education, and clear decision-making — not just passive treatment. Rehabilitation is guided by both symptoms and objective measures of strength and capacity where appropriate.

Accessibility & Independent Rehabilitation
In-person physiotherapy provides the highest level of clinical oversight, allowing immediate assessment and progression adjustments.
However, I recognise that regular in-person physiotherapy isn’t achievable or necessary for everyone. The Independent Rehabilitation Pathway is designed to provide structured guidance and professional oversight for individuals who prefer a more self-directed approach.
Following an initial consultation to ensure safety and best injury analysis, suitable individuals may choose a structured rehabilitation programme with scheduled check-ins.
